Last updated: September 29, 2026. These terms apply to Firefly Jars for Android, package com.kobasic.fireflyjars, published by Andrija Rotter Kobasić, operating as Kobasic, Croatia ("we", "us"). By installing or playing the game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
1. The game
Firefly Jars is a free-to-play puzzle game with ads and one optional in-app purchase. We may update, change or stop offering features, levels or the game itself, for example to fix problems or improve the experience.
2. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, resell, rent or distribute the game or any part of it, except where applicable law expressly allows it.
3. Remove ads purchase
- Remove ads is a one-time purchase made through Google Play. It stops interstitial ads between levels on devices signed in to the Google account used for the purchase. Optional rewarded ads remain available if you choose to use them.
- The purchase is a licence to a feature of the game, not property. It has no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
- Payments, refunds and billing questions are handled by Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Play's refund policies. If a purchase is refunded, the feature is removed.
- Where the law of your country gives you consumer rights that cannot be waived, including rights in the EU, nothing in these terms limits them.
4. Ads
The game shows ads provided by Google AdMob, as described in the Privacy Policy. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or websites you visit from them.
5. Fair play
Please do not use the game in any unlawful way, interfere with its operation or its ads, use tools that automate or manipulate ads or purchases, or attempt to access parts of the game or its services that are not meant for you.
6. Intellectual property
The game, including its code, artwork, sounds, text and level designs, belongs to Kobasic or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. The fonts used in the game are licensed under the SIL Open Font License.
7. Your progress
Your progress is stored only on your device. It is not backed up by us and will be lost if you uninstall the game, clear its data or change devices. We are not responsible for progress lost in these ways.
8. Disclaimer
The game is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free or available on every device, or that ads will always be available.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the game. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the game is limited to the amount you paid us for the game in the twelve months before the claim, or EUR 10 if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Ending these terms
You can stop using the game at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your licence if you break these terms. Sections 6 to 11 continue to apply after the licence ends.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without affecting mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Croatia, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
